In short: be honest, do not break the law, do not harm other people or the service, and do not try to get access you have not paid for. If you break these rules we may limit or end your access.
1. For everyone
Please do not use the service to:
- break any law, or help someone else to;
- commit fraud or scams, or use someone else's phone, account or payment without permission;
- send spam, viruses or other harmful software;
- attack, probe or try to break into the service, another person's device or any network;
- harass, threaten, abuse or discriminate against other people;
- view, share or make material that sexually exploits or harms children, which we will report to the authorities;
- pretend to be another person or business;
- interfere with the service, for example by overloading it with requests.
2. For WiFi customers
- Do not share your access code or let other people use it, unless your plan covers several devices.
- Do not try to avoid payment, for example by copying someone else's device identity or using tricks to get online without paying.
- Do not use so much of the connection that it harms other people's ability to use the WiFi.
- Do not resell access you bought.
3. For WiFi owners
- Show your prices and what each plan includes clearly, and deliver what you sell.
- Do not charge customers in a misleading way, or add charges you did not show them.
- Check whether you need a licence or permission to sell internet access, including from your own internet provider, and follow it.
- Respect customers' personal information. Use it only for running your WiFi and do not pass it on or sell it.
- Do not use customer records to harass or target people.
- Keep your equipment secure and do not let it be used to attack others.
4. Reporting a problem
If you see something that breaks these rules, please tell us. Give as much detail as you can, such as the place, the time and what happened. We take reports seriously and will keep your name private where we can.
5. What we may do
If these rules are broken, we may, depending on how serious it is: give a warning, limit or switch off access, hold a balance while we look into it, close an account, and tell the authorities where the law requires or allows it. Where it is fair and safe to do so, we will explain what happened and give you a chance to put it right.
